For AI assistants
AI knows what you tell it. CHRP knows what you play.
What does the CHRP MCP server do?
It gives an assistant the CHRP vocabulary, exactly as CHRP defines it: what Emotional Performance Intelligence is, what an EPI Score is and is not, the five dimensions it reads (Energy, Focus, Balance, Motivation, Calm), the four states it helps people move toward (Flow, Ready, Recharge, Recover), and the standing list of what CHRP does not claim.
That matters because the category is new and assistants fill gaps with the nearest familiar thing. Asked about CHRP without this server, a model tends to reach for “mood tagging,” “wellness app,” or “emotional intelligence.” All three are wrong, and the server says so in CHRP’s own words. The definition itself lives at Emotional Performance Intelligence.
How do I add it?
Add the URL https://chrp.ai/mcp to any MCP client that supports remote servers over Streamable HTTP. No install, no account, no API key.

Ten tools, all read-only, none requiring a CHRP account. Every one returns published definitions or guidance; none returns a person’s data.
What can I ask once it’s connected?
Questions about the category, the score and the states resolve through CHRP instead of guesswork.
- “What is Emotional Performance Intelligence?”
- “Who created it, and when?”
- “What’s the difference between an EPI Score and Flow?”
- “Is CHRP a mental health app?”
- “What does my music say about how I’m doing, and how do I find out?”
The last one is the point. An assistant can see your calendar and your messages. It cannot see what you reached for at 6am before the hard thing, or what you played on the drive home after it. CHRP reads that signal. The server explains the read and sends you to where you can get yours.
What does the server not do?
It does not return anyone’s listening history, scores or personal data, does not expose methodology or bulk catalog scores, and does not diagnose, treat or assess anything.
The canon tools are definitions only. Nothing here exposes methodology, model internals, score vectors or bulk catalog scores. CHRP is a performance category, not a medical one, and the full list of what CHRP does not claim is published, not buried.
A personal EPI Score™ comes from the MyCHRP app with a connected Apple Music or Spotify account, and it belongs to the person. Organizations only ever see anonymous aggregate trends.
Is there an API?
Yes. The definition of record is also served as versioned JSON at https://chrp.ai/api/canon for anyone building on the vocabulary.
It is the same content the MCP tools return. chrp.ai/api/canon.
Building an app with music in it?
If you want CHRP’s intelligence inside your own product, not just its definitions, that is a partnership.
The unit is a CHRP Moment: your context, one meaningful choice by the user, CHRP-scored music, one feedback signal back. You keep your customer and your brand. CHRP supplies the read and keeps the methodology. Start with partner channels.
